Body Alignment Therapy is a gentle method of adjusting the skeleton to help relieve pain and allow the body to work more efficiently. The client remains clothed. Benefits: Everyone can benefit from this practice. It is especially good for people with back neck or shoulder problems, sciatica, headaches, or any injury or other trauma. Energy Flow Even the way we sit, stand or lie down can cause a restriction of vital energy. A subtle adjustment of the joints can help to restore the flow of energy. Releasing Trauma Alignment Therapy uses the client's knowledge of their own body, and empowers them to use that knowledge to release old held traumas at a physical and emotional level. Self Help Clients can sometimes make their own adjustments, either with the practitioner on their own or with a partner. They learn how to check their bones from many angles, and confer with the practitioner to understand together what is needed for healing. Easy Adjustments Sometimes, by observation and subtle touch, the practitioner can enable the client's body to adjust itself. The body can readily accept adjustments as they are made with gentleness and understanding. |
